Mining aerology and gasdynamics
Research laboratory of mining aerology and gasdynamics of mining works is a structural division of the mining and geological research section of VNII Galurgii JSC.
Main activities:
- development and improvement of technical and organizational methods of mining workings ventilation which provide safety and fail-safety at mining works, research maintenance of mining works under complex mining and geological conditions;
- development of scientific basis for ventilation automation of mines and underground structures in order to increase safety and decrease power consumption for ventilation;
- development of normative documents, expertise of the projects for mine construction and reconstruction, opening and preparation of mining extracted areas, horizons, blocks and panels, regarding ventilation, air supply and control of sudden rush.
